A huge THANK YOU from the Harrogate doorstep photographers!
The Doorstep Portrait Project for Harrogate Hospital was started 4 weeks ago to raise £500 for Harrogate hospital and to put smiles on our community’s faces.
The doorstep project has been a HUGE success! We have photographed over 300 doorsteps combined and have now raised £6680, This total is still rising!
All 6 photographers involved are Stacey J Evans Photography, Lianne Price Photography, Nicole Wilcox Photography, Sarah Warne Photography, Charlotte Hedgecock Photography & Rachael Fawcett Photography.
We have all worked so hard on this project and we have all had so much fun meeting so many lovely people! Harrogate is full of kindness and beautiful people!
We have met so many people who are all missing their family and friends but also we have met many people who have had newborn babies that are yet to meet their grandparents, aunties and uncles, couples who have had to postpone their weddings or honeymoons, people whose family are hundreds of miles away and people celebrating birthdays in lockdown.
We are so pleased that we have been able to offer something positive in these times for everyone, to be able put a smile on their faces and to give them something remember these times!
The project has now concluded and some of us have been able to resume some sort of business but the donation page is still open until the end of the week for those who still wish to donate or have had their doorstep photo taken but may have forgot to do so.
We are so thankful for the incredible people in Harrogate for your support and the local media for some fantastic coverage! Following this we have now been shortlisted to the FINAL THREE for The Telegraph Lockdown awards in the community category!
The story will be live on The Telegraph online Tuesday 19th May and in the paper on Saturday 23rd May!
