Behaviour Skills provides bespoke, child-tailored sessions targeting all behavioural and emotional difficulties associated with 
Special Educational Needs (SEN).
We work with children aged between 2 – 19 years of age diagnosed with, or presenting with a range of conditions associated with Autism (ASC) and other additional needs, including language delay.
Sessions are devised to develop skills and manage challenging behaviours using positive reinforcement and emotional regulation. We focus on all areas of development including communication/language development, social skills and self-help skills, with the main focus being on gaining as much independence as possible. We also provide support and training for parents and school staff.
Sessions are tailored to support the child’s individual needs and can be carried out in a variety of settings including the home and out in the Community where appropriate. Follow up support can also be arranged where necessary.
Based on specific requirements as highlighted by parents/school staff, Behaviour Skills are able to carry out in-depth observations and provide a report highlighting all recommendations.
We strongly believe in a holistic approach and as such pride ourselves on the flexibility of working alongside any existing client teams and other specialists or therapists, so that together we can form the best possible service for each and every child.
Our overall aim is to provide parents/families with the necessary tools to support their child’s behavioural, learning and emotional needs, in order that they may lead a positive, meaningful, enjoyable and as independent a life as possible.
Services & Packages that we provide:
Pre-schoolers – programmes are tailored towards preparing your pre-schooler for nursery/primary school and sessions include development of learning to learn skills including attending, sitting, waiting and all other essential skills, that will help and support the transition from home to school learning.
Pre-schoolers & Primary school age – intensive 1 to 2 day 1:1 packages are available tailored to the individual child/family’s needs with regular follow-up sessions where necessary.
All ages – regular weekly bespoke sessions/packages at home, school & out in the community, tailored specifically to the child’s individual needs.
