Beningbrough Hall, Gallery & Gardens – February half term

The magic of trees, Saturday 15 – Sunday 23 February (closed Monday), 11am–3.30pm

Experience the magic of trees this half term and follow the trail as a tree detective. On selected days join a ‘naked tree walk’ to look at the trees without their leaves and spot the first signs of spring or get creative in an artrageous workshop. It’s also the last chance to experience Gerard Hobson’s Winter Wildlife in Print exhibition. Depending on the weather the snowdrops should be opening more and more creating a carpet of white along the ha-ha walk.

Trail and Winter Wildlife in Print exhibition – every day.

Naked tree walk – Tuesday 18 and Thursday 20, 11.30am and 1.30pm.

Head out exploring for this 30 minute session with the gardeners looking closely at the bare branches of the trees as they give away their seasonal secrets. Spaces limited so sign up on arrival.

Artrageous! – Wednesday 19 and Friday 21, 12 noon – 3pm.

Get hands-on and create tree silhouettes in the family workshop, please note the room is accessed by stairs only.

The events are free, but normal admission charges apply for Beningbrough or free to National Trust members and under fives.
