It’s always magical up at Stump Cross Caverns but it’s even more so at Christmas time! So whether it’s your first time or you’ll be coming back to see us, do come and visit us over the next couple of months! Weekends and school holidays are particularly busy – so make sure you book in advance!
Visit Rocking Santa
Join us and our Rocking Santa for a special start to your Yuletide festivities! Book a private 15 minute family appointment with Rocking Santa (in his spacious cinema room grotto) and get a gift for every child.
£12 per child, includes gift.
Dates: 27th, 28th Nov, 4th, 5th, 19th-24th Dec.
15 minute slots. As it’s important to stick to pre-booked times, a visit to Santa is best booked for BEFORE your caves entry time.
We went to visit Rocking Santa here last year – and it was brilliant! My little girl still goes on about him today! The set up is lovely – you’re in the cinema room with just your family so it feels really special and personal! You wouldn’t think you we’re in the cinema room – the place is transformed into an amazing winter wonderland! You have a little chat with Santa, and then he’ll sing you a few songs – we even had a little dance! Then you leave with a present!
We loved it! The beauty of this Santa experience was that – that was all it was. There was no obligation to go into the caves or use the cafe. We obviously did – made a fab Christmas Day out of it, but it was great to have the choice!
Christmas cinema tickets
Every day that Santa is at Stump Cross, we’ll be showing a festive film in our cinema.
Book now – only £6 per person. Make it the ultimate cinema experience and have food from the Time Cafe served to you in the cinema!
Festive Feast! £5 deposit
We ask for a £5 deposit to reserve a table, which will be knocked off your food bill (we try our best to remember but do give us a nudge if it looks like we’ve forgotten when it’s busy!)
Your table reservation will be held for ten minutes. If it looks like your arrival at Stump Cross is likely to be delayed, please do call us and we’ll do our best to re-organise things for you.
Food is served from 9am to 5pm (til 7pm Thursdays). To enter the café during these times you’ll need to have a table reservation. We’re also open for coffee and cake after the kitchen closes (from 5pm to 6pm), for which you can just turn up – there’s no need to reserve a table in advance for these times.
The menu will be full of our favourite festive foods – including our infamous sausage rolls! We are fully licensed too so why not enjoy a Stump Cross Ale too! Want to make it a little more special? Then why not book our private dining experience at the Time Out Pod?
And last but by no means least our caves will be open all as usual – and I’ve been reliably informed The Cavewoman will be around for the Christmas holidays!
