December is jam packed with great shows – and we’re not just talking about panto!

The Bootleg Beatles, Thursday 19 December, never disappoint with their authentic period costumes and instruments, to their witty stage banter and ‘inflection perfect’ vocals. With a little help from their own orchestral ensemble and featuring a special set to mark the 50th anniversary of Abbey Road, this show is an absolute must for Beatlemaniacs of all ages.
Prefer something spooky? Nothing says festive like the Victorian classic A Christmas Carol Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 December. Presented by the creative team behind A Book of Darkness and Light, this is their first foray into classic literature, combining the unmistakable prose of Charles Dickens with an original, live violin score.
Dead Men’s Eyes, Friday 20 – Sunday 22 December, is the sixth instalment of Nunkie’s M R James Project, a series of one-man supernatural storytelling shows featuring two chilling and thrilling tales from M R James, the master of the English ghost story.
