Baby Bundle Social Evening – Can you help?
The Baby Bundle Appeal needs your help to put together our lovely baby bundles for babies and families who need to be cared for at local Special Care Units. All items are provided for the bundles, we just need volunteers to help put them together and many hands make light work!
This month we are bundling for the Harrogate SCBU and York SCBU in memory of Jack Morrison. Jack is the son of LifePoolers Laura and Paul Morrison and brother to Pippa.
Jack was born on the 23rd December 2019 at York hospital 13 weeks premature. He was given excellent care from the amazing team there, but sadly passed away 6 days later. Laura and Paul’s friend visited them and brought some essentials that they needed so that they could spend their time focused on Jack.
Laura wanted to get involved with baby bundling as she understands, from her own experience, just how important these bundles are and how they would have benefited as a family if they had received one themselves.
All bundles from this session will be donated to York SCBU and Harroage SCBU and will be gratefully received. York SCBU would also value donations of cardigans and blankets too, so if you know anyone who enjoys knitting then please put then in touch with us.
Laura and Paul are also raising money on behalf of Jack to help other babies and give them the best chance in life. Whether it is equipment or items that make family’s stay there more comfortable every penny will be incredibly valuable. If you would like to donate please click the link below.

Bring a along bottle of wine or soft drink if you would like a glass or two during the evening or tea, coffee or hot chocolate will be available free of charge.
This is a great chance to spend and evening catching up with old friends or meeting some new people, whilst doing some good and making a difference in community. We hope to see you there!
