Swinton Bivouac near Masham will play host to a brand new Woodland & Walking Festival on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September 2019.
Aimed at families, walkers and nature lovers of all ages, the festival will offer an array of alfresco activities in and around the woodland at Druid’s Temple from stone carving and willow weaving to foraging and forest bathing, orienteering and outdoor yoga.
Visitors will be entertained throughout the day by live music at Bivouac Café Bistro, falconry displays and art workshops, alongside an all-day BBQ and woodland refreshments in the Druid’s Plantation. Other activities include mountain biking at Swinton Bivouac, a choice of 10 walking trails with scenic picnic spots on the wider Estate, ArtisOn craft tent and forest school sessions.
Entry to the Woodland & Walking Festival costs £10 per car (includes entry for all passengers) with additional charges for ticketed events.
Entry is free for residents of Swinton Bivouac and all dogs are welcome.
