Mud, mud, glorious mud, there’s nothing quite like it for…keeping the kids entertained!
Families are being encouraged to pull on their wellies, grab the waterproofs and enjoy a week of mud and machines at RHS Garden Harlow Carr.
Every day, come and jump in our giant muddy puddle and take part in our Mud & Machines Trail around the garden. Have your photo taken with a giant digger from 11am – 3pm, Monday to Friday as Harlow Carr’s garden team demonstrate how they use the garden’s heavy machinery.
Kids can get mucky with muddy craft activities on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10.30am – 3.30pm and hear tales from the Garden Detectives from 10.30am – 3.30pm on Tuesdays.
On Thursday 15 February, why not take part in a Worm Day? Learn how to entice worms from underground with our worm charmers and make your own wormery from 11am – 3pm.
On Friday, make a marvellous mud pie in the Great British Mud Pie Off from 10.30am – 3pm. Prizes for the winning pies will be announced at 3pm.
Normal garden admission.
