Many Thanks to Laura Sands who put this list together and posted on our Facebook Group. We are incredible lucky to be part of such a wonderful community.
Here’s a list of community/church cafes/grocery shops that are already operating as free or pay as you feel as we navigate through this cost of living crisis. The St Peter’s meals and Harrogate Free Meals specify for those in need (on a no questions asked basis) but the other cafes are open to all regardless of whether you are struggling or not. Resurrected Bites Community Groceries (NOT cafe-that’s open to all) also operates on a membership scheme that you can apply for if in need.
***Some opening hours may change in the school holidays – please check their Facebook pages and/or websites.***
