Our beloved North Yorkshire family festival is back! Set in picturesque fields owned by a lovely farmer named John, near Knaresborough, Glampfest is forging ahead for another fantastic weekend after a spectacularly successful event last year. We got the heatwave AND the Northern Lights last year so we have a bit of work to do to better that!

Many of you know we first launched Glampfest in 2017 as a small campout and what started out with 100 attendees (and us doing everything from making the sandwiches to administering first aid!) has grown into a 1500-strong annual celebration!

What Makes Glampfest So Special?
Glampfest isn’t your typical festival. It’s a family-friendly extravaganza that combines the magic of glamping with live music, kid-friendly activities, delectable street food, and hand-crafted treasures. We personally select every vendor and act, ensuring only the best in artisan food, drink, crafts and entertainment. From leatherworking and driftwood art to boho fashion and handmade jewellery, there’s something for everyone.

Harrogate Mumbler have been going along for the last couple of years – just look how much fun they had in 2023 and 2024!

Unmissable Festival Highlights
Every Glampfest brims with unique experiences you won’t find elsewhere:

• The best local DJs – Our funky DJs always keep the vibes alive.

Although we retired the infamous Sprinting Sweetie Man for safety reasons, these signature events remain staples of the Glampfest tradition. Plus, nowhere else will you see such a stunning display of Glawnings—a breathtaking sight that truly defines the festival spirit.

What’s New for Glampfest 2025?
Mark your calendars for May 9-11, 2025 because this year’s event has potential to outshine them all! Held in fields on Market Flat Lane near Scotton, Glampfest is growing and with the hard work and dedication of the Mighty Events team we are bringing oodles of exciting new things to the table this year:

• Science Show – Silly Stasia and Bonkers Bertie of Silly Science Workshops will deliver a high energy, fun-tastic family show or two for kids aged 4 – 94yrs old. 
• DJ workshops for kids – Ever wanted to become a DJ? Funk My Life are hosting workshops where 8-17 year olds can learn how and have a go on the decks themselves.
• Ibiza Chill Out– Funk My Life are providing a cool Saturday afternoon of Ibiza Vibes in the main arena.
• Tom Dibb’s Campervan Live Lounge is back– Unwind with relaxed acoustic performances from talented artists.
• Magic Show – Debut performances from our Faces Galore Magician.
• Climbing Wall – a towering climbing wall will be available for all ages to scale (safely and with expert supervision).
• And More! – LED Circus skills, debut performance by Hazjak Duo, Bhangra Smash Up, Martin Gregory and FML.

Returning favorites include forest school, yoga, massage, our resident bubbleosaurus, PE sessions, DJ MC Austin Powerz, kids’ craft activities, storytelling, face painting, silent disco, kids disco, archery, fancy dress, DJ Rory Hoy, Barr Lane Band, The Gleaves, open mic and craft stalls await, and, of course, incredible food and drink options catering to all tastes.

A Festival That Gives Back
Every year, Glampfest supports a meaningful cause. In 2025, we’re fundraising for The Brain Tumour Charity in memory of Simon Dowle. The Brain Tumour Charity is the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally and the only charity in the UK taking on brain tumours on all three fronts: research, campaigning and support. We can’t wait to raise some funds for this worthy cause.
