It is almost Christmas at the Harrogate Horticultural Nursery.
There will be a range of Christmas plants to make your home feel that little bit more festive this season, including their vibrant cyclamen plants. There will also be a range of Christmas gifts from planters, wreaths, and gift vouchers.
Most importantly, from Wednesday 20 November they will have Nordmann Fir Christmas trees! This classic, non-drop tree has become a household staple and is by far the most sought-after Christmas tree year by year. The Nordmann fir has won fans everywhere thanks to its superior needle-retaining abilities and bushy, pyramidal shape. Its densely covered branches tend to produce a less ‘gappy’ tree than then Norway spruce – a joy to decorate with baubles. From the end of November, we will have our popular poinsettia plants, grown by our experts, available in a variety of colours!
On Saturday 30 November the nursery is joined by Happy Treacle Markets where you can have a wander around the stalls and nursery with a nice hot beverage from Kele Beans coffee van. The Happy Treacle Market will be bringing a variety of vendors with fantastic offerings from; Christmas decorations, fabric makes, candles, delicious cakes, and bakes as well as a sleigh with selfie station!
