Head down to Stockeld Park this Half Term for some February family fun!
February half term is just around the corner! If you’re looking for a family fun day out in Yorkshire then look no further, Stockeld Park is for you! February Fun is open from 15th – 23rd February with plenty to keep the whole family entertained!
Take a look at this exciting line up of events:
Science & Slime Shows – Sublime Science from Dragons Den will be putting on spectacular shows daily over February half term. There will be sweet making, gooey smile making, magic tricks and amazing experiments that’ll leave the children’s mouth open wide with amazement! The shows will be 35 minutes long and tickets are available on a first come first served basis. (12pm, 1:30pm, 3pm)
Ice Skating – get active in the Yorkshire fresh air and whizz around the real ice rink at Stockeld Park! The ice rink is covered, so you can skate in any weather! There are also penguins available for those who are less confident on the ice. (10am – 5pm daily)
Stockeld Rangers – roll up your sleeves and prepare for a range of activities with the Stockeld Rangers! There will be arts & crafts where the little ones can help build the new marble run that will eventually be displayed in the Enchanted Forest and there’s also an opportunity to build a teddy! (Additional ticket required) (10:30am – 4:30am daily)
Indoor Play – there’s never a dull day at Stockeld, even if it’s raining! This February half term there will be a giant indoor jumping pillow and a giant inflatable slide. Climb aboard the Stockeld Express or head into the mini arcade room for some gaming fun! (10am – 5pm daily)
Along with these exciting events you can step into the magical world of the Enchanted Forest where every path leads to a different adventure. With magical surprises at every turn, the Enchanted Forest is the place to spark even the wildest of imaginations! Enter the magical maze and be prepared to get lost along the way! Climb the castle viewing tower to look over the tops of the trees or cross bridges and discover playful surprises, musical instruments and some unexpected obstacles! The maze at Stockeld is Yorkshire’s largest evergreen maze and the 2000 yew trees used to make it were grown on the Stockeld estate! Take on the four, large Adventure Playgrounds that Stockeld Park has to offer whilst mum and dad can enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the ancient woodland while the children run free!
