We need a very special kind of Handyman or Handywoman to join our charity as a gardener and decorator.
Help at Home Handyperson
· Part time, 14 hrs per week over 2 regular working days
· Permanent subject to funding
· Some flexibility required for occasional extra hours/holiday cover
· Regular additional hours may also be available, subject to funding
NJC SCP 5-6 £19,312 – £19,698 per annum pro rata
+ 5% employer’s pension contribution
As part of the HELP Team, the handyperson, assisted by volunteers, completes work in the home and garden for people not in a position to do these tasks themselves.
Since no two days are ever the same and plans often have to change at short notice, you will need an open-minded, friendly and unflappable approach and a proven interest and skills in gardening, decorating and DIY.
You also need to be able to drive our van to visit people in their homes across the whole of the Harrogate District.
