The schools in the Harrogate area generally work to a catchment area. If you contact your local school directly they will be able to tell you if you are within their catchment area, they will also be able to give you details of any open days or their policy for visiting the school.

Aspin park primary school, Knaresborough, does not have nursery or preschool of own but Aspin early years preschool runs on the site for private, not for profit, sessional care for 2-5 year olds.
The school has ‘owls club’ which runs before and after school on site in its own building from 7.30 and until 5.30. Nippers nursery also runs a before and after school club with drop off and pick up at the school.

Meadowside primary school has a breakfast club from 7:50 hrs, also you can do an early drop off from 8:15 hrs which is only £1.00 (no booking required for the early drop off but children must be signed in) and an after school club running until 17:30 hrs.
Scriven Park Preschool Playgroup is based in the school grounds providing places from 2.5 yrs with a variety of morning or afternoon sessions.

Staveley Primary has a nursery class and accepts the term after their third birthday.
Before/After school clubs. Clubs and teams continue to be an important part of the life of the school. They are run by staff and outside agencies and are open to boys and girls of all ages. Every morning there is a breakfast club that starts at 8:15am. On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thurday after school there are also clubs running. These may vary from term to term but usually include an arts and crafts club and a sports club.
