Introducing LA Performance Academy – Harrogate’s Newest Performing Arts School
We are thrilled to introduce LA Performance Academy, a brand-new performing arts school based at St Mark’s Church, Leeds Road, Harrogate. Founded by Lucy Auty, an ex- professional dancer and experienced teacher, our academy is built on a foundation of kindness, passion, and excellence.
At LA Performance Academy, we believe that every child should have the opportunity to grow in confidence, develop their skills, and find their love for performing in a supportive and inspiring environment. Whether they dream of the West End or simply want to have fun in a supportive and express themselves, we provide high-quality training in a nurturing space.
We currently offer exciting classes every Monday evening:
✨ Musical Theatre – A dynamic class combining singing, acting, and dancing, helping students become confident all-round performers.
🤸 Acro – A fun and challenging class that improves flexibility, strength, and coordination, incorporating elements of dance and gymnastics.
These classes are open to children aged 6-14, and as our academy grows, we aim to expand our timetable to include ISTD Ballet, ISTD Tap, ISTD Modern, Lyrical, Street Dance, Singing, and Acting.
