Sunday is a traditionally a day of rest … unless you’re Farmer Percy, that is! During March, Humble Bee Farm’s lambing season keeps Farmer Percy on his toes as his flock of ewes get ready for the birth of their little ones.

The event is not suitable for pregnant women who are advised to enter lambing areas.
You can just come for the day but why not book one of various accommodation types and stay for a short break! The lambing experience is FREE for guests staying on site.
The family-run farm includes three comfortable holiday cottages (two with outdoor hot tubs), Premium Wigwam® Lodges and Deluxe Wigwam® Cabins each with a hot tub, TV, en-suite shower, toilet and kitchen area, and Big Chief Wigwam® Cabins. During the summer season they also have Bell Tents, Nomadic Yurts, camping and caravanning. Humble Bee Farm is also a great place to visit in school holidays or, if you have babies and tots, make the most of our mid week stays.

If you just want to join us for lambing, then you’ll need to book your tickets here. The ticket price includes access to the petting corner for a gorgeous cuddle with a lamb; meeting and feeding a lamb; meeting Farmer Percy and hearing his fascinating talk; a sheep quiz and trail; a competition to win a glamping stay; access to the sports field; the opportunity to take a photo in the photo booth and see Alfie and Madge, our sheepdogs. The Hive, our on-site cafe bar will be open serving warming drinks and light bites, while our shop will sell special souvenirs.
Tickets are £20 per family for up to 2 adults and 3 children. Two time slots available: 11am OR 1pm each Sunday.

Humble Bee Farm is near Flixton, close to Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington, Whitby and the North York Moors National Park. You can be as busy as bees exploring the area and return to our site to for relaxed, quality time with family or friends. They have cows, sheep and crops in our fields, ensuring a superb holiday accommodation with the great outdoors! Collect an egg for breakfast, meet the farmyard gang. Walkers, cyclists and surfers are welcome. Child and dog friendly! We are a Low Noise Policy site so you can relax with us, down on the farm.
