Tropical World’s adorable mob of meerkats can’t wait to welcome visitors back next week.
After six long months of being closed due to restrictions, Tropical World is finally able to reopen its zoo on Monday (17 May).
Visitors will be able to explore all parts of the zoo including the desert house, butterfly house and aquarium where they will be able to see meerkats, crocodiles, monkeys, exotic birds and much more.
Visitors will also be able to discover the newly refurbished ‘Creature Cavern’ zone where they can say hello to some new additions lurking in amongst the shadows – from the venomous, clawed, to the prickly.
If the weather’s nice, make sure you pop outside and enjoy Tropical World’s extensive outdoor seating area, overlooking the stunning scenery of Roundhay Park’s Canal Gardens. Their indoor café seating area will also reopen on Monday, offering lots of tasty treats for those visiting or passing by.
To help keep everyone safe inside the attraction, enhanced safety measures will remain in place so everyone can enjoy the full Tropical World experience. Please follow the visiting guidelines to help keep everybody safe.
Tropical World will be open daily from 10am to 5pm with last entry at 4.15pm. Online booking is preferred, so please book in advance here to avoid disappointment.
