I love pizza, in fact my whole family do so jumped at the chance to try The Homemade Pizza Club out…….I was intrigued to see what it was like & I wasn’t disappointed – we all loved them & had a great time making them.
I received my box of goodies on Friday (the kids straight away spotted the box had ‘pizza’ on it when they came home from school) so we decided to try it out for diner. We had some friend staying which was great as the pizzas are massive. Everything was packaged really well & included an ice pack so it kept everything cool even in this crazy heat.
The bases were packed individually & as myself and my eldest are gluten free we opted for some of those bases as well. It was an absolute joy to see the gf bases were the same size as the normal ones – usually this isn’t the case & we always have to have smaller options. Everything was clearly marked and as the bases were individually wrapped you could pop them in the freezer, however in the Friday they stay fresh for up to 48 hours.
Everyone has their own base & we set about adding the toppings, starting with the rich tomato sauce provided & the grated mozzarella – perfectly portioned for each pizza – next there was a selection of authentic Italian toppings including pesto, grilled vegetables, sun dried tomato & salami (you can choose which toppings you would like to go along with your bases). The children went for salami & I tried out the vegetables & pesto which were delicious. Everyone had great fun & enjoyed being involved in making them – then they went into the oven and were ready in around 7-8 minutes – perfect for a speedy tea without having to think about anything!
The verdict was 10/10 and I can honestly say I have never had such a fantastic tasting pizza at home – it was a winner all round & we will be trying them again in the Summer holidays.
There are many options including meaty, vegetarian & spicy options & you can even buy gift cards too – do check them out here.
