Fun and inspiration at the Museum this May half term
This school holiday become a Victorian for the day.
Tour our trio of museums in the heart of Ripon, exploring the stories and reliving the past.
Over the holidays visitors can enjoy dressing up and enjoying old fashioned games of hop scotch and hoop and stick. For keen crafters we have relaxing activities in the Workhouse and for enthusiastic bakers there is an invitation to roll up your sleeves and get sticky in the kitchen!
We are throwing the Courthouse doors open with more dressing up and plenty of courtroom drama but make sure you stop off at the Prison & Police Museum for some inky fingerprinting fun.
After a day of all that adventuring, sit back and relax in our beautiful Workhouse gardens soaking up the sun (hopefully). It’s a real hidden gem!
The Ripon Museums Trust is a charity that has transformed three heritage sites in the centre of Ripon. Our museums are not just a collection of objects, they are rooted in the stories of real people and our team of wonderful volunteers bring history back to life.
