Where to see the best bonfires & fireworks in Harrogate & Knaresborough?
We’ve also got lots of ideas & suggestions for days out & things to do during the October half term holiday here.
As well as our special school holidays events don’t forget to check out our year round “Days Out” pages by clicking here
At Mumbler we love to know about what is on for local families during the school holidays. We have over 14,000 local parents each month visiting our website so if you have an activity or event that you’d like us to publicise, then please tell us about it by filling in this form.
If you want the most exposure, choose a “Featured” listing for just £10 per month +VAT. Featured listings are placed alphabetically at the top of the page, include plenty of details and all of your website, social media and email contact and a photo or company logo.
If budgets won’t stretch, we’re still happy to tell the local Mumblers about your event with our free basic listing. Basic listings go lower on the page and have a 50 word limit with phone number only.
See below for details of previous years events.
The Harrogate Round Table are organisers of the Harrogate Stray Charity Bonfire. Being one of the few remaining bonfire events where an entry fee is not charged, Harrogate Round Table are reliant on the generosity of the public on the evening to donate as much as they can afford to this years supported charity.
They always ensure a warm family feel where everyone can watch the display in safety. You sense a real community spirit and it’s great to see so many families enjoying the event.
Unconfirmed Event Timings:
Stray FM Build Up from 6pm
Bonfire Lit – 6:30pm
Fireworks – 7ish pm
(All timings are approximate)
The bonfire is held on the Stray alongside Oatlands Drive, close to St. Aidans School. There is limited parking in the immediate vicinity so the area is likely to be highly congested.
