The Harrogate Stray Bonfire is a charity event and all money raised will be going to the Harrogate Homeless Project. Matthew Firth, who is one of the people responsible for planning this year’s event, has chosen to support the Harrogate Homeless Charity for the 2nd year running because: ā€œIt is important that we help end homelessness on the streets of Harrogate. Especially going into wintertime when the mercury regularly drops below freezing and these poor people, often through no fault of their own, end up on the streets.ā€

Harrogate Stray Bonfire Night is made possible by the support of the generous public who can donate on the night of the bonfire by either putting cash in our collection boxes or by using one of the card machines that will be circulating Oatlands Stray.
