Come down to the farm and pick your perfect pumpkin from the patch where they are grown – there are 1000s to choose from !
You can then take your pumpkin to the carving shed where you can get creative and design a spooky face .

While you’re here don’t forget to explore the King’s Tower, dark dungeon and take a trip through the secret underground tunnel. Discover the colourful characters of Knaresborough in the museum. There’ll be some special Halloween sweets and souvenirs in our shop too!

Make Halloween howlers from fabric or try your origami skills with Freddy Kreuger finger
Pelt the Pillory
Get your frustrations out by punishing Pillory Pete with fruit and veg (it’s ok, he’s a guy ready for the bonfire!).

The Druid of Brimham is up to his old tricks again, terrorising the local animals. Can you be the hero the animals have been looking for? Follow the trail collecting the clues hidden in the rocks and craft the item to help you break the spell.

We will be unearthing the creepiest creatures we can find, as usual we will have a trail round the gardens, indoor crafts & outdoor workshops to see what is lurking in the flowerbeds….

Join our outdoor holiday club this October half term and explore the woodland at RHS Garden Harlow Carr with our Forest School leader. Take a walk around the garden, enjoy a coffee and cake at Bettys or shop in the plant centre whilst your child is immersed in our Forest school holiday club. The theme and activities will be Autumn and the creatures you can discover within the woods.
Price: £5.00 per child Members, £10.00 per child Non Members (Includes garden entry). The workshop will begin promptly so please arrive 15 minutes before the workshop start time and allow 5 minutes to walk from the main entrance to the Woodland Shelter where the workshop will begin. One parent/guardian to remain on site. NB: Adult non-members will need to purchase a garden ticket if they wish to remain within the garden.

Stir Krazy Kids is a cooking and baking club for food-loving children aged 5-12. We combine creative learning with delicious recipes and a whole host of other games and activities. We’re back this October Half Term for two jam-packed days of foodie fun at Harrogate Ladies’ College on Tuesday 24th October and Wednesday 25th October.
We make brand new recipes at every workshop which means you’ll learn something new every day!
