Through our workshops, people living with a range of disabilities discover their talents, put them into practice and realise their full potential. Over 150 Art Makers access the Centre each week to take part in around 18 different workshops.
This role will be responsible for all administrative functions within the Arts and Craft Centre’s office and will provide an efficient reception service, acting as first point of contact for visitors to the Centre.
Key responsibilities will include:
-Provide confidential administrative support to the ACC Manager, including the production of management information to support reporting processes.
-Develop systems, processes and procedures, including the use of excel spreadsheets, to ensure efficient management of confidential data and the production of management information for the Centre Manager as required.
-Support the Centre Manager with financial record keeping, including purchase orders, invoices, and cash handling functions.
Proven experience of working in an administration role in a busy environment, as well as experience of working in a customer focused role, is essential. The successful candidate will need to be IT literate with a working knowledge of MS office including word, Outlook and powerpoint and excellent time management skills, with previous experience of prioritising tasks and managing a busy workload.
Experience of working with people with visual impairment and/other disability is desirable but full training will be given.
