What are your choices?
- Moses Basket – a longstanding tradition in the UK, but an old fashioned one now. They can be very useful for a couple of weeks as they can be moved from room to room, but it usually is just a couple of weeks before baby is too big.
- Straight to cot – there is a lot of research to suggest the transition from womb to world is a difficult one, and babies will settle easier in a smaller environment, so usually cots are just a bit too big to be used in those early months.
- Co-sleepers – great for keeping baby close to you in bed at night, especially if you are demand feeding, however they are limited to being attached to your bed. What about during the day when you want baby close by?
And then there is this new idea of a Baby Box.
A Baby Box is versatile enough to be used anywhere around the home as long as it is on a flat and level surface. It can easily be taken away with you for a weekend break or something too. Just put all babys things inside, load it up into the car and you have everything you need, including that familiar place for baby to sleep in.
Of course baby will outgrow this too one day, but one of the best features of a Baby Box is that this doesn’t mean you stop using it. It becomes the perfect treasure box to store memories and keepsakes of your precious baby. Imagine one day going through this box that you’ve used to store all their ‘firsts’ in, knowing that it was the place they slept in too. Magical.
Even better at the moment our Baby Box is just £20 when you use the code ‘flash20’ at the checkout. If you want even better value, our gift filled box is just £50 when you use the code ‘flash50’.
