What is Baby Broadway?
Baby Broadway is an interactive family concert that promises to fill your Sunday afternoon with feel-good songs from musicals and films. Our professional West End singers will have the whole family singing, dancing and clapping along.
Taking place on Sunday 17th November at 3.30pm at the Crown Hotel, this baby-friendly event also features bubbles, puppets, and fun dance moves that everyone from toddlers to grandparents can enjoy!
Dancing toddler? Nappy change needed? No problem – we’re used to it all! Audience members can move around as necessary to respond to the needs of their child throughout the performance.
Baby Broadway was created by Harrogate mum-of-two Anna Unwin, who spent ten years in TV and Musical Theatre production before founding these family-friendly concerts in 2015.
Who is performing?
Baby Broadway works with professional performers, most of whom have been in hit West End shows and tours. In Harrogate, you’ll see Claire Parrish, Tom Bales and Nathan Jarvis perform.
Claire trained at Millennium Performing Arts and has been in West End productions of Les Miserables, Miss Saigon and The Rocky Horror Show as well as UK Tours of Mary Poppins, Oliver, Blood Brothers and Cats.
Tom isa Geordie actor currently starring as Elder McKinley/Moroni in The Book Of Mormon UK Tour. Tom studied at ArtsEd in London and has also been in West End productions & tours such as Hair, La Cage Aux Folles, White Christmas and The Boy Friend.
Nathan is an experienced Musical Director based in Manchester, who studied at Guildhall School of Music in London. His credits include shows at The London Palladium, Cadogan Hall, The Charing Cross Theatre, Sheffield Lyceum and The Leicester Square Theatre.
What are the songs?
Baby Broadway is packed full of popular hits from musicals and films such as Oliver!, The Sound of Music, Grease, Mary Poppins and Singin’ in the Rain.
There isn’t a nursery rhyme in sight and we aim to include songs that both young and old can enjoy – plus we always have time for a medley from Frozen towards the end!

All tickets must be booked online in advance.
Age Recommendation
Open to all ages, Baby Broadway is best suited for children aged 0 – 7 and their grown ups. This interactive show is not just for the little ones—parents, carers, and grandparents love it too! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Venue & Transport
The concert will take place in the Victoria Suite at the Crown Hotel, Harrogate, with buggy parking and baby-changing facilities available on-site. There is also a disabled lift for easy access.
The bar will be open for refreshments before and during the performance.
The Crown Hotel is situated in the heart of Harrogate, with on street parking available nearby and the train station 10 minutes walk away.
