Miss T and I were super excited to be invited along to try out Tumble Tots last week. Having done classes with Bran many years a go in York I knew it would be right up Trilli’s street.
The set up is super exciting for toddlers and pre-schoolers with different zones for them to try all under the supervision of the fantastic Tumble Tots Team. The theme of the week was Healthy Heroes so the teachers and children were dressed accordingly. The class began with a full body warm up and songs. After we were all warmed up we were divided into teams and made a train to head off to our first activity.
The class is fantastic as the children can explore and develop their physical skills by climbing, balancing, jumping, and rolling on their brightly coloured bespoke equipment. The huge variety of activities helps to keep the children engaged and using the train to transition from one activity to the next helped give each activity a clear start and end point.
Trili was a huge fan of the balancing beams but also the activities designed to develop fine motor skills. She is pretty handy with a wooden stick! The staff are all super friendly and welcoming and demonstrate each activity for you and your child. There is also lots of flexibility too so if your child wants to try things in a different way then they can. Tumble Tots in Harrogate offer sessions tailored to the needs of babies from six months and there is the pre-school class too from the age of 2.
At the end of the session we all came back together as one group and cooled down with more singing and dancing. It was clear to see that the children got a lot from the class with lots of happy smiley faces. Everyone received a sticker at the end and a piece of fruit to celebrate the theme of the week.
If you’re looking for a new class to try with your little one Miss T and I would definitely recommend Tumble Tumble Tots. With exciting themes, fantastic equipment and a hugely talented team you’ll have such brilliant fun! Se can’t wait to go back again soon.
