School Open Days

Throughout the year, we hold a series of open events aimed at families looking for a place for their child for the upcoming academic year.

For children aged 2 to 11, we offer several Open Doors events which allow families to look around our campus and facilities on a typical school day while meeting staff and pupils.

Our Saturday Open Mornings allow a more in-depth look at the College and provide families with information about our co-curricular, pastoral, boarding, and careers provisions as well as individual subject areas. Families will hear from our Head Mrs Rhiannon Wilkinson, key members of staff, and our pupil leaders. Alternatively, those looking for entry to Prep School will attend a presentation from our Head of Prep, Mr Phil Soutar.

In addition, there is a separate themed Reception Open Morning, which is an excellent opportunity for families interested in our Reception class to meet with our Class Teachers, Miss Georgi Bird and Mrs Vicki van Zeller, and hear from our Head of Acorns Pre-Prep, Mrs Charlotte Cryer. Meanwhile, children will take part in some fun classroom-based activities including story time and crafts.

For those interested in entry to Sixth Form, a subject Options Fair in the Autumn term allows prospective pupils and their parents to meet our dedicated Sixth Form team as well as A Level and BTEC subject teachers.

A selection of Taster Days are on offer for different areas of school. Come along to our Autumn Year 7 Taster Day or our Spring Sixth Form Taster Day to experience life as an Ashville pupil. On these days, a selection of subject sessions are offered alongside a hearty breakfast and lunch.

We also offer weekly free parent and child Outdoor Adventurers group sessions during term time, helping your child connect with nature in our dedicated outdoor learning area.

The next open doors event for Ashville Prep School (Years 1-6) and Acorns Early Years (children aged 2-5) takes place on 17th April 2024.
