Fountains Primary School is opening its doors to prospective parents. They are excited to welcome families with children due to start in Reception next year or those with older children looking to transfer to the school.Ā
The school is set in the wonderful North Yorkshire countryside, but is still just 7 miles from the centres of Ripon and PateleyĀ Bridge. ItĀ provides an environment that gives children a first-hand experience of the outdoor classroom, taking part in Forest School sessions and using their vast outdoor space to enhance the curriculum.
The school has a dedicated, caring and supportive staff and uses PE and Music specialists to deliver a curriculum which allows children to flourish in all subjects. Children regularly take part in sports events and competitions with other local schools and take part in swimming lessons at the local swimming pool.Ā They offer wrap around care, with a breakfast club before school and Fountains Fun Club running after school as well as a range of other extra-curricular clubs for children of all agesĀ to enjoy.
The school has been rated good both OFSTED and SIAMs. OFSTED found that “Pupils clearly love coming to this school. They appreciate that teachers make the learning fun. Pupils are clear that this is a very caring school.”
Fountains Primary School is welcoming prospective families to come and visit the school throughout the autumn term.Ā Guided tours will be given by staff and they will happily answer questions about the school.

Gateways is a highly successful independent day school for boys and girls aged 2-18 years situated in Harewood village, near Harrogate. We are known for our small class sizes and āfamily feelā; in Prep School our maximum class size is 18 pupils.

If you are interested in applying for Nursery or Reception at The Grammar School at Leeds come and join us for a morning of fun at one of our stay and play taster sessions for children aged 2 to 4 and their parents.
A taster morning is a great opportunity to experience a flavour of what Nursery and Reception at GSAL has to offer and to meet some of our wonderful teachers.
During the morning you and your child will take part in some fun activities in our classroom, play in our early years area, forest classroom and outdoor playground, take part in story time and enjoy a delicious snack. There is also plenty of time for parents to experience our small class sizes and chat to our teachers and teaching assistants. We look forward to meeting you and your family.
