We know that times are strange just now with children at home and parents trying to get to grips with home learning, as well as juggling their own work (which seems to come a distant second to being IT support, model makers and maths tutors!) Hats off to our teachers who have been working hard to enable children to keep studying. We thought we’d share a few of our favourite online resources too.

Would your primary-school aged child like some extra support with their maths and literacy? Please express your interest by filling in the quick online form on our website. All our Fundamental Learning sessions are now being run on Zoom and we love the flexibility it gives us to teach. Whilst Mr Straughan, a teacher and former primary school maths lead, is working with a small group, Immy (our teaching assistant) can do one-to-one activities with another child. Who knew online learning could be such fun!
Immy is also offering paired reading sessions for children between Reception and Year 4.

Remember, important as it is to keep educating our children, don’t forget to make time just to hang out, read a book together, watch a film and just take things easy. These are worrying times for us all and children will value spending quality time together with their loved ones.
