New programme launched to help parents get back into work across Yorkshire

We are proud to announce that GPS Return is partnering with the Government Equalities Office and CIPD on this exciting Return to Work Programme aiming to help 150 parents return to work across Yorkshire.
There are over 40,000 parents, just in Yorkshire, trying to return to work after taking parental leave, many of whom will return to work ‘under-employed’. As part of this FREE programme, the 150 ‘returners’ will get tailored support from qualified HR professionals, through the CIPD Steps Ahead Mentoring programme, lasting up to 12 weeks. The mentors will use their expertise to help you build your CV, create or update your online profiles, succeed at interviews and boost your confidence. In short, they will give you the skills and knowledge you need to find a job at a level in line with your experience that will help you be both the parent and the professional you want to be.
You will also be invited to the unmissable Pregnant Then Screwed Live event happening in York in March where you will have the opportunity to meet, not only other parents returning work but also have access to more than 25 different companies who are actively recruiting parent returners offering the flexibility you need.

To be part of this programme you should be a parent looking to return to work after taking 12 months or more out of work due to parental responsibilities.
