Did you see Harrogate’s favourite Father Christmas & Tinsel the Elf last year? If you did you will be sure to remember the magic of their enchanting Elf Workshop adventure.
The good news is… after the huge success of last year’s Elf Workshop shows with Father Christmas and the Elves, Enchantica’s have spent all year building something even more magical for families to enjoy…
This year will see the arrival of a very magical ELF VILLAGE which is only visible to those who believe in the magic of Christmas! The Elf Village will be a part of the immersive adventures families will be able to enjoy, hosted at Cedar Court Hotel in Harrogate this Christmas.
As families arrive, they will be welcomed by the elves in the Cocoa Cafe where they have the option to purchase festive drinks, treats or even enjoy their pre-show Santa’s Breakfast or Elf Land Afternoon teas. When the elf tasks are all completed in the Cocoa Cafe, Father Christmas will grant families access to the magical Elf Village which will lead them to Father Christmas’ Tipi for the enchanting show to begin! There are three different shows to choose from this year and there is always time to meet Father Christmas at the end for photos, certificates and for those on the gift list, a treat from the Elf Workshop!
Suzie from Enchantica’s, aka Tinsel the Elf, said
“From the moment last year’s shows came to a close, we have been developing this year’s festive dream-weaving concepts. For us, The Father Christmas Experience is a real passion project. It’s a project that extends deep into the community and has become a joyous tradition for so many local and visiting families to Harrogate. Immersive theatre is at the core of all the events we create, and it really is such a joy to bring the magic of Christmas to life for so many families to enjoy.”
Suzie and the team from Enchantica’s have been delivering Christmas events at locations all over the UK since 2006. Tinsel the Elf (aka Suzie from Enchantica’s) first joined Father Christmas at Harlow Carr as his chief elf in 2018 and since then, their theatrical festive adventures in the run up to Christmas have become a firm favourite tradition for thousands of families from Harrogate and beyond.
Back by popular demand, but always a little bit different each year for returning families to continue enjoying the magic, this sing-along elf training adventure is suitable for all ages of believers, particularly families with 0-7-year-olds. From families with new-borns to festive-loving grandparents, everyone attending will enjoy helping Father Christmas and the elves get ready for Christmas in our Elf workshop. With a few special guests along the way and lots of added sprinkles of North Pole magic, this experience really does bring the magic of Christmas to life!
This new experience has been specially created for audiences of 7years+ to adult. This Santa’s Spy School adventure combines escape room challenges, code-breaking puzzles, illusion, magic and fun family entertainment to make a visit to Santa exciting for those slightly older Christmas fans. Enchantica’s believe that the magic and excitement of Christmas is something that stays
with us forever and this experience has been created to add a little bit more enchantment for those ready to carry on the magic into adulthood!
Enchantica’s specialise in educational theatre and this year have been working with a team of local sponsors to bring to life a ‘Sustainability at Christmas’ experience for local primary school children to enjoy. Green Elf School will welcome local primary children to the Elf Village to enjoy learning how they can earn their Green Elf award and help Father Christmas and the Elves make a difference this Christmas. If you would like your school to be entered into a draw to enjoy a FREE Green Elf Christmas Show, please email magic@enchanticas.co.uk before 11th November.
