Whether you’re a parent of a teenager who’s a fitness fanatic or they’re just wanting a healthier lifestyle this summer, Brimhams’ fitness centres based in Harrogate, Ripon and Pateley Bridge are one of the few in the area which has a junior membership option for ages 12-15.
Our moto is ‘Bring it on with Brimhams’. Why? Because we believe no matter what challenges are put in front of you, with the right gym membership, exercise programme and training environment, you can achieve anything. This is something that our junior members feel too.
The motivation to set up this membership option was to encourage young people to get active in a safe environment with experienced instructors who give professional advice on how to keep fit and active in a new digital age.
We guarantee our members get the best. In fact, all our gyms are fully equipped with the state of the art Technogym (the official supplier of the Olympics!) equipment. Not to mention mywellness which tracks all of your activity and gives you a detailed fitness plan to work on straight from an app on your phone.
We know that becoming fitter and healthier can seem intimidating and overwhelming especially if you’re a younger person. That’s why when every junior member joins Brimhams, they will have a detailed discussion with a fitness instructor. We answer questions they might have and work as a team to introduce them to a new environment in their own time frame with a programme to suit them.
We wanted to make this membership as accessible as possible so as well as daily supervised sessions we are giving you the opportunity to use the gym whenever you want when supervised by a another Brimhams member who is over the age of 16. Get fit through swimming too; junior memberships include entry to the district’s five pools.
