Fit4Life is a 12 week weight management programme that aims to promote healthy eating and physical activity to achieve healthy sustainable weight loss.
It has a track record of achieving successful results:
“I joined back in April and since then have lost two stone and (more importantly) maintained that loss through regular exercise and a change to a healthy eating lifestyle. This morning Jane pushed most of us to our limit with the exercises, but boy did we all appreciate it. Keep up the good work Jane.” – Mike Smith, Fit4life participant
“I had my induction with Matt in July 2019 he has been very supportive and constantly stresses how healthy eating and making healthy choices for yourself is the best way forward for life long health and fitness. I feel Fit4life gives you all the knowledge you need to continue after the course finishes and for me it has been life changing.” – St Andrews, Fit4life participant
The programme is run by qualified health and exercise professionals to ensure the course can be tailored to you.
A variety of techniques are used to teach you about food choices to help change your current behaviour and develop a healthy relationship with food, whilst also introducing you to exercise to help with your weight loss journey.
Fit4Life is run throughout the Harrogate district with a variety of community classes in Harrogate, Ripon, Knaresborough, Boroughbridge and Nidderdale. There is also a gym and swim option available, which offers a more flexible approach for those with work and/or have family commitments.
