This 800-acre site is bursting with life and splashing its colour. Little legs can run riot as you play your biggest ever game of hide and seek. Hide in all corners of the abbey ruins before racing through the grass towards the water garden and around the moon ponds, see the swans swimming and discover the winding dark tunnel.
Why not take a walk through the summer garden or climb to the high ride to see some of the best views?
Wobble, jump and climb your way through the play area and, if you have energy left, take a visit the deer park. Admire the views down to Ripon Cathedral and see if you can spot the deer. There are three different types from small fallow deer to the largest of them all: red deer. Join us for a deer walk on 25 June and find out more about these deer that call Studley Deer Park their home.
The visitor centre restaurant will be open for eating-in and takeaway. Baby change, toilets and accessible toilets are just a two minute walk away – perfect for if little legs can’t go very far. There are also baby change and accessible toilets by Fountains Hall and at the Studley end of the estate.
We want to make sure that everyone can enjoy Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal.
