With more than 25 years combined ultrasound experience, our sonography team exists to ensure you feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible during your scan appointment. Our scans cover fertility, endometrial thickness and pelvic wellbeing, along with the full range of pregnancy scans, from just six weeks. Additionally, you can visit us for non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT), which tests for Edwards’, Patau and Down Syndrome (from 10 weeks) and SneakPeek early gender testing (from six weeks).

Cocoon’s antenatal offering may include: preconception lifestyle, health and dietary advice; planning pregnancy and accessing care guidance; early pregnancy reassurance and wellbeing checks; phlebotomy services; fetal heart auscultation; vital observations; fetal presentation palpation and scan, counselling and listening services; pregnancy choices; birth preparation.
Based in our beautiful midwifery suite, appointments are available for support including; birth processing and debriefing, infant feeding support and guidance, wellbeing and emotional health checks, suture checks and pelvic health including pelvic floor assessment, listening and counselling support, and support with adjusting to new parenthood.
Support for people experiencing pregnancy and baby loss, or navigating pregnancy after a loss, is at the heart of our core values. We’re very happy to partner with Taking Baby Steps, a team of specialist bereavement midwives with more than 35 years combined experience in providing support for those who have experienced loss, a traumatic birth or are struggling with anxious pregnancy. They understand the complex and difficult emotions that people face, as well as the disparity of care and experiences that people may encounter. It is a fundamental priority of both Taking Baby Steps and Cocoon to offer a service that is consistent, informative and kind. Jane and Sue are able to provide support across the board, including:
