This Christmas is going to be incredibly difficult for lots of local families. We’ve been in touch with local and national charities and organisations, and listed below are those that are looking for your help in the run-up to the festive period.

This Christmas hundreds of families will be living in emergency accommodation having fled violence and abuse. You can help to make this place of safety more comfortable and give families the opportunity to celebrate a Christmas free from domestic abuse by making a cash donation of giving vouchers or gift cards to be passed onto the families supported by IDAS.

Resurrected Bites are delivering food parcels to vulnerable people across our district, people who are struggling to access food for various reasons.
We want to help people to have as normal a Christmas as possible and so we would like to deliver presents to our customers too, focusing especially on making sure customers have something to give their children.
Do you have unused, unwanted gifts you would like to donate which are still in their packaging or have tags on? We are looking for toys, gifts, toiletries sets for teens and adults, unused gift cards. If you would like to buy a gift for someone please email alison@resurrectedbites.co.uk or call 07434 639911 (3-5pm) and she will let you know what gifts we are still looking for as we are asking customers what their children would like. Please donate the gifts unwrapped. We are also looking for donations of wrapping paper and Sellotape too.
