My little boy, Edward, turned 5 last month – I still can’t quite believe it! We celebrated his birthday with some friends and family, which is the first time we’ve been able to do so in person since 2019.
Edward has a sweet tooth, so I jumped at the chance to sample and review some party favours. Sweet Treats offers alternative party and occasion gifts. It is run by Fiona, who clearly has a passion for creating delightful things to be enjoyed. The favours are beautifully packaged with lots of care and love in the presentation.
The children’s faces lit up with delight when I presented them with their treats. They were spoilt for choice with 3 different favours each (as pictured below) and all immediately tucked into the chocolate dipped marshmallow. A huge success!
Two of the guests had dietary requirements (no dairy or soya) and Fiona was so accommodating. She made sure everything was dairy free and used Moo free chocolate. The children’s mum was so impressed that her children weren’t left out and could have exactly the same as everyone else. Dietary requirements are so important, but can often single children out so it’s nice that they were able to feel the same as the other guests.
Fiona, who has 3 small children, has just taken the leap and left employment. She wanted a job that would allow her flexibility to spend more time with her own children. And so Sweet Treats was created. You can see all the options she has available on her Facebook page here and Instagram page here.
Well done on taking the leap Fiona and we wish you every success in your new adventure.
