Our No Wrong Door service is looking for people from all walks of life, living in or adjacent to the Harrogate district, to help local young people turn their lives around by becoming a high needs supported lodgings host.
So, if you enjoy making a difference, and you have a spare room, we’d love to hear from you – becoming a supported lodgings host can also be a great way to earn an additional income. It’s not as hands-on as fostering, for example, so suits people who may be working, either full or part-time.
We’ll give you full support and training – once you are assessed, you can expect to receive around £300 per week tax free* equivalent to an annual salary of over £15.5k.
You will also have the opportunity to work in our No Wrong Door residential hub (current hourly rate – £12.60) giving you the chance to meet and start to build a relationship with a young person before they are placed with you. *whilst you have a young person in placement.
