Just outside Ripon is Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal, who will get the top score at welly wanging? Can you weave your way through the rope web? How many sticks, twigs and feathers will you gather to help build a giant egg nest?
Or head to Ormesby Hall near Middlesborough, wheelbarrow racing and egg and spoon racing, plus, seed planting is on offer in the garden and front field.
Easter adventure trails are also available at Beningbrough, Nunnington Hall and Brimham Rocks. In West Yorkshire head to Nostell and East Riddlesden Hall, and further south visit Wentworth Castle Gardens.
Prices are £3 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet for that garden adventure, bunny ears to make and wear and a dairy or vegan and Free From chocolate egg prize at the end. Normal admission charges apply to each place, or free to National Trust members and under-fives.
Check locally for dates of the trail at each place as they vary, opening times, and to plan your visit.
