Family holidays have always been precious, but now more-so than ever before. Fewer people were able to go abroad this year due to Coronavirus so, it not surprising that bookings for family holidays next year are already proving incredibly popular.
I’m very much a last-minute type of person myself, but even I’ve got our family holiday booked for June 2021! It’s something to look forward to, and to get excited about. But in these odd times, there is the worry in the back of my mind that was never there before: What if we all go on lockdown again? What if things change and I have to quarantine when I get there or when I get home? Will I get my money back if I can’t go?
We’re also being a bit more cautious about the locations that we visit and we want to know what measures are in place to make this well-earned holiday as safe as possible. We need reassurance that we will have a fantastic holiday, that we will be looked-after if anything goes wrong. We need to book with someone that we can trust. And that’s where the TUI Holiday promise come in.
Mumbler are delighted to be working with TUI Holidays and many of us at Mumbler have already used them as our preferred holiday company (more on that later…)
TUI know about families and specifically what parents need for a relaxing holiday (let’s be honest, holidays aren’t like what they use to be pre-kids!) TUI have always catered for families by making life as easy as possible and thinking of little things that wouldn’t have crossed my mind.
There’s no doubt about it, TUI Holidays are made for families. In light of the coronavirus pandemic, and all the uncertainty it’s brought with it – TUI have once again pulled it out the hat and gone that one step further in launching their Holiday Promise so you and your family can book and travel in confidence even in these uncertain times.
To add to this, TUI are taking every possible step to protect you against COVID-19 throughout your holiday, from deep-cleaning their aircraft to ensuring their hotels meet the highest standards of hygiene. Find out more about how they’re keeping you safe on flights and at hotels on their website.
TUI promise you’ll have a brilliant holiday. If there are changes at your hotel, resort or destination, which they think will stop this from happening, they won’t take you there.

Our Leeds Mumbler Rachel was lucky enough to go on a TUI Holiday earlier this year, only just before lockdown, in March 2020 Her family enjoyed a two week TUI Sensatori holiday to Azul Beach Resort in Mexico. Rachel told us more about her holiday…
“They provide lots of stuff to make packing and travelling with children easier. Baby packs for the bedroom are provided, including bottle steriliser, bottle warmer, baby bath, and cot. We also borrowed a buggy which made travelling a lot easier it was immaculate with a good sun shade. In all the restaurants high chairs were provided, and they were always properly cleaned. Jars of baby food were also available. We read that you could request food was blended for you, but didn’t try it.
Around the resort, our daughter enjoyed the small play frame on the beach and the splash park. There were toddler sun beds dotted about which had great novelty value too! There is also an indoor Playhouse. Again this was immaculate. We took our children inside one cloudy morning, and let them play on the wide selection on toys.”
