This Valentines Day, Harrogate BID want you to share your love to Harrogate, whether it is with your partner, family, friends or pets.
On Friday 3rd February, we are launching our ‘We Love Harrogate’ Campaign, building on from last year’s ‘I Love Harrogate’ campaign whereby we worked with local schools to find out why the children of Harrogate love their town.
This year we want everyone to tell us why they love Harrogate, we are going to be installing a pop-up love heart, made of roses on Montpellier Mews (down the side of Fik), alongside a competition to win a £150 Harrogate Gift Card so you can share the love to Harrogate businesses or a £60 Betty’s voucher! All you need to do is head down to Montpellier Mews, take a picture with the heart, post it on your social media and tell us why you love Harrogate and tag #ShareTheLoveHG1 – the winners will be picked at random.
There will also be a chance to win a lovely bouquet of flowers, kindly donated from Blamey’s Florists who have helped us bring the campaign together. Head down to Montpellier Mews, scan the QR code and guess how many flowers were used to make the heart, the closest guess will win – don’t count them all!
The installation will be there from Friday 3rd – Sunday 19th February
The nature trail is open 9am – 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am – 4pm Sunday.
Wednesday 15th Feb 10am-2pm.

As well as having fun in the play area, you can also book a game of crazy golf, table or tennis! Children can take part in a treasure hunt around the games in parks area and the first 240 children to complete the treasure hunt will get a free orange Calippo push up lolly. Refreshments and hot drinks will also be available to purchase at the Games Pavilion from 11am until 4pm.
We started our half term with a walk through the Valley Gardens and the Pinewoods to the beautiful Bamber and Brown Tipi just before Birk Crag. Refuel at Bamber and Brown with coffee, sweet treats and a ever growing array of savoury offerings. A huge field at the back of the tipi – with a couple of football goals and a go cart – theres is plenty to keep the kids entertained for quite a while!
Remember – if you have membership to local trusts and gardens – their half term activities are usually included in your membership.
We also have some FREE colour in downloads for the little ones this half term, just click on the links below!
